The posters published by the Organization of Solidarity with the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America (OSPAAAL) are a new expression of revolutionary art. They were created as a result of an agreement reached at the first tricontinental conference held in Havana in 1966, in response to the U.S. invasion of the Dominican Republic a year earlier. From the beginning, it was an international project, since representatives from 82 countries participated in this first conference under the following rallying cry: "This great humanity has had enough and needs the help of the international community": "This great humanity has had enough and has started to move".
