Beautiful advertising poster of Jean d'Ylen for the Cigarette Anic a bout filtrant denicotinisant.

Jena D'Ylen, illustrator and poster artist who was actually called Jean Béguin, was born in 1886 and died in 1938. He is often compared to Cappiello. In 1924, he was one of the first to use imagery very close to surrealism in his posters for the Shell Company. Under contract to the Vercasson printing company from 1922 to 1934, he produced 203 posters. Before becoming a poster artist, he started out as a goldsmith for Boucheron and Cartier and in 1912 won the prize of the Chambre syndicale de la joaillerie parisienne.
