Beautiful original tourist poster of the 40s for the caves of Gargas. The caves of Gargas are the only decorated caves of the department of Hautes-Pyrénées open to the public. They are located in the valley of the Neste in the commune of Aventignan (65660). These caves are pierced in a north-pyrenean limestone range, the massif of the Gouret wood, which dominates the valley of the Neste d'Aure, two kilometers upstream from the confluence with the Garonne.
