Marino Marini 🇮🇹 (1901-1980) is an artist known for his figurative equestrian sculptures.
Throughout his life, he focused on the theme of horse and rider. He was also noted for his expressive busts with sad, abstract faces, as well as for his paintings reminiscent of equestrianism.
In 1936, he was awarded the Prix de la Quadriennale in Rome, and his work was included in the Italian Art program at MoMA in New York.
