In 1972, the Musée National d'Art Moderne devoted a major retrospective to Man Ray.
Like all the exhibitions held in collaboration with the artist at that time, it showed his creative activity in all its fascinating diversity: paintings, collages, drawings, sculptures, assemblages and some photographs.

Man Ray was one of the greatest Dadaist and Surrealist artists who revolutionized world photography.
