A beautiful poster created for the shipping company Linéa C (Costa Croisière) featuring the magnificent EUGENIO C liner.
This liner entered service in 1966. She was one of the last Italian liners to be built for the South American transatlantic line.
She made her maiden voyage to Rio de Janeiro on August 31, 1966. She served the Costa line until 1996. At the end of the 1980s, she was renamed Eugenio Costa. She is the flagship of the Costa fleet.
The last of the great transatlantic liners built by the national merchant navy, Eugenio C. is Nicolò Costanzi's last project. In the design of the hull, he applied elaborate ideas such as the wave seat, a particular shape of the bow, and the flow-guiding stern, capable of highlighting the characteristic shape of the hull.
