Choubrac is one of the pioneers of poster art in France. In 1884, when Maindron published his first article on posters, he listed only nine active poster artists known to him, and included the three poster artists whose work made up the first poster exhibition, held that same year at the Passage Vivienne in Paris: Alfred and Léon Choubrac and Jules Chéret.
Beeston Tires advertised their product as "the king of the road".
Choubrac opts for a much more curved business card to draw attention to the road tire. This is the smaller version on display in the store.
