Tanconville, pseudonym of Henry Ganier, born on July 29, 1845 in Lunéville, died on September 20, 1936 in Baume-les-Dames, is a French magistrate, painter, poster artist and illustrator. He settled near Strasbourg in 1894, and lived there until 1914. During this period he devoted himself exclusively to his activity as a painter and illustrator under the pseudonym of Tanconville. Tanconville participated in the Kunschthafe of which he illustrated the twenty-seventh dinner. For over thirty years he produced posters for the Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée (PLM).
