A nice poster made by Jean Tillaud in 1945 to promote the Quinzaine de la Communauté Française.
During this event, the diversity of the colonial world was presented to French youth through films, conferences, books and publications.
The Empire was the only vestige of the country's greatness on the international scene in the eyes of the regime. All of the State's constituted bodies were called upon to promote a taste for the Empire among young people and to give them a taste for physical effort through sporting events.
