Beautiful lithography made by Pierre Fix-Masseau 🇫🇷 (1904-1995), a famous French poster and graphic designer.
It is as an apprentice of the master designer Art Deco A.M Cassandre that he begins his career, from 1926 to 1928.
This experience had a considerable influence on him, as he continued to work in the Art Deco style throughout his career.
Fix-Masseau created his own distinctive style, combining the influence of his master with his own perspective on intricate detail. He is best known for his railroad and automobile posters.
This poster is, beyond its beauty and rarity, very special. It is one of the last works of Fix-Masseau. Indeed, he designed this poster at the age of 85, but more importantly, it is a unique design that was commissioned for a marketing event based on the theme of a "global network" that never saw the light of day. Therefore, a very limited number of prints exist. This print is hand signed by the artist himself.
