Original poster in a totally Art Deco style realized by Savignac 🇫🇷 (1907-2002), a famous French poster artist. Many of his creations for advertising posters are now part of the French cultural heritage. As often, his style is characterized by an effective simplicity always accompanied by a certain touch of humor.
This poster was created to promote Ryst Armagnac. Armagnac is a wine brandy produced in the French departments of Gers, Landes and Lot-et-Garonne. Joseph Dupeyron, a distiller, founded in 1905 the RYST-DUPEYRON house, a family home in the heart of Gascony, to house his elixirs.
