A superb poster on the theme of airlines, designed by Otto Nielsen πŸ‡©πŸ‡° (1916-2000) for Scandinavian Airlines System, in Swedish SAS AB, a Scandinavian airline founded in 1946.
SAS is currently the leading airline in the Nordic countries and a founding member of Star Alliance. It operates two main hubs, Arlanda airport in Stockholm and Kastrup airport in Copenhagen, and offers destinations all over the world.
To promote destinations to South America, Otto Nielsen decided to feature a toucan, the climbing bird found in South America and immediately recognizable by its bright plumage and large, long beak.
