René Louis Péan, born in Paris on July 1, 1875 and died in Ermont (Val-d'Oise) on September 4, 1955, is a French painter, poster artist and illustrator. Student of Jules Chéret, he created between 1895 and 1905 within the workshop Chaix many posters for the world of entertainment and leisure.
