Produced in 2015, this original numbered screenprint commemorates the Ferrari 250 GTO entered in the 1962 edition of the 24 Heures du Mans. The historic race date printed beneath the title refers to the event being celebrated; this is a later collector’s edition rather than the official poster issued in 1962.
The composition presents the pale-green number 20 Ferrari in a precise side profile against a tonal green background. A monumental “24h” emblem and a simple golden disc rise behind the car, creating a restrained design that recalls the clarity and elegance of mid-century European advertising.
This particular Ferrari 250 GTO, chassis 3505 GT, was originally prepared for Stirling Moss and entered at Le Mans by the British UDT-Laystall team. Driven by Innes Ireland and Masten Gregory, it completed 165 laps before retiring with an electrical problem during the fifteenth hour.
Introduced in 1962, the Ferrari 250 GTO combined aerodynamic refinement with a powerful V12 engine and became one of the defining competition cars of its generation. Although the number 20 car did not finish, other 250 GTOs placed second and third overall at Le Mans that year, confirming the model’s exceptional capabilities.
