Swissair Australia Vers 1965

Very nice poster made by Georg Gerster 🇨🇭(1928-2019), a Swiss journalist and photographer, specialized in aerial photography, and recognized as a precursor in this field.

For two decades, between the 1970's and 1990's, he took numerous aerial photographs for the airline Swissair, and his considerable work contributed to define the image of the airline.

This 1971 Swissair poster shows a reef in the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland in northeast Australia. The Great Barrier Reef is the largest ecosystem on Earth and is even visible from space.
