The Yardbirds are an English rock band, formed in London in 1963. The band's core lineup included vocalist and harmonica player Keith Relf, drummer Jim McCarty, rhythm guitarist and later bassist Chris Dreja, and bassist/producer Paul Samwell-Smith. The band launched the careers of three of rock's most famous guitarists: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page, all of whom made the top five of Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest guitarists.
Country Joe and the Fish is an American psychedelic rock band formed in Berkeley, California in 1965. The band was one of the most influential bands in the San Francisco music scene of the mid-to-late 1960s.
