A nice poster made by Paolo Garretto 🇮🇹 (1903-1989), a famous Italian painter to promote Natura magazine.

Paolo Garretto began his career in London as a caricaturist.

Thanks to his work of a remarkable quality he is invited to collaborate for prestigious magazines like The New Yorker, Vanity Fair etc...

But the 2nd World War broke out and he was forced to return to Italy. He was deported and imprisoned in Hungary in 1942 for refusing to draw caricatures of Roosevelt and other allied political leaders for the Nazi propaganda.
