This organization was born during the tricontinental conference held in Havana in 1966 to combat American imperialism.
Castro saw it as an opportunity to exercise his policy of international solidarity to make a difference on a global scale.
OSPAAAL printed numerous posters in support of the revolutionary movements. Their colorful political messages are accompanied by short texts written in four languages (Spanish, English, French and Arabic) to reflect the group's internationalist aims.
