A original poster realized by Francois Del Ry to promote the National Lottery in the 1950s.
The National Lottery was created in 1933, it is the descendant of the Royal Lottery of Louis XVI and can be rightly considered as the ancestor of the Loto.
In the 1930s, raffles and clandestine lotteries multiplied. The government, following this collective craze, decided to make the state coffers benefit from it.
It is following a decree of July 22, 1933 that is created a "National Lottery for the benefit of the veterans and the agricultural calamities".
