Roman Cieslewicz 🇵🇱 (1930-1996) was a graphic artist who designed numerous posters for the Central Film Distribution Company, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Communist Party.
His remarkable work will allow him to become the art director of Elle magazine.
This poster of Cieslewicz presents an exhibition of the Russian artist and poet Vladimir Mayakovsky which took place at the National Center of Contemporary Art.
Mayakovsky was the first Russian poet to use the term "futurist" on February 24, 1913 during a debate on contemporary art.
He will become one of the "leaders" of this new artistic movement at the beginning of the twentieth century.
