Beautiful poster of Max Ernst printed by Mourlot in 1964 for an exhibition on surrealism. A prolific artist, Ernst is one of the pioneers of the Dada movement and surrealism.
Born in 1922, the artist moved to Paris where, two years later, he became a founding member of the Surrealist group, along with André Breton and Paul Eluard, whose work was based on fantasies from the unconscious.
