Original Lithograph numbered and signed by Bernard Villemot. In 1955, Bernard Villemot produced this lithograph for the SNCF to promote tourism in Mont Saint Michel.
The artist's refined drawing style is recognizable here as he depicts the Norman township located on the rocky islet where the abbey of Mont Saint Michel stands surrounded by the English Channel.
This coastal strip of the bay is now a Unesco World Heritage Site and the town is the most visited tourist spot in Normandy.
