Beautiful original poster by Roger Broders for the PLM railroads and the village of Cornillon. Roger Broders is one of the most prolific poster artists of the 1930s: his work is inseparable from the PLM company, which commissioned more than a hundred posters from him between 1922 and 1932. The Compagnie des chemins de fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée, commonly referred to as Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée or its acronym PLM, was one of the most important private French railway companies between its creation in 1857 and its nationalization in 1938, when the SNCF was created.
