The 1932 original movie poster for "Mexican Diplomats" (Meksikanskie Diplomati) captures the essence of a groundbreaking political satire film from the era of silent cinema in Russia and Armenia. Directed by an unknown filmmaker, this 58-minute black-and-white movie takes a sharp jab at the political climate of the time, specifically targeting the Dashnak Armenia regime in its final days.

Set against the backdrop of the collapsing Dashnak Armenia, the film follows the antics of the desperate Dashnak Ministry of Foreign Affairs as they recruit two idle and unemployed men from the streets to pose as Mexican diplomats. The absurdity of the situation is underscored by the film's mockery of the Dashnaks' reliance on the Allied Powers and the cruelty of the Dashnak Mauserist Units.
