Beautiful lithography of Jacques Auriac for the Bally shoes for woman.

Bally collaborated with artists such as Otto Baumberger, Pierre Gauchat, Bernard Villemot, Hugo Laubi, Lise Berset and Jacques Auriac to create advertising posters.

Jacques Auriac was a man of craft; he modestly insisted on this point on all occasions.
His education began with the Beaux-Arts in Bourges and Paris (from 1940 to 1943) under the difficult circumstances of the war. He has always defined himself as self-taught and independent. Just out of school, he found Guy de la Vasselais in the late 1940s. This man was one of the best publishers and printers of posters of the time. La Vasselais had built up a remarkable team of graphic designers after the war. There were some big names like Raymond Savignac, Hervé Morvan and other personalities...
